Notepad++ version: 8.1.2
HexEdit version: 0.9.9
I know this version of HexEdit is adapted to Notepad++ version 7. I have not tested HexEdit for Notepad++ 7. In this issue I will describe some problems with the graphical interface.
- picture 1 [1] Hexadecimal view mode adds additional frame thickness. This is not consistent with the main program. I think it would be better not to have this strip on the sides and bottom of the window. (see also picture 3a and picture 3b)
- picture 1 [2] It is not possible to customize the header panel colors. It does not automatically adjust to the dark mode of the Notepad++. It cannot be adjusted manually either.
- picture 1 [3] HexEdit shortcut icon is invisible to the Fluent UI style toolbar. (see also picture 4)
- picture 1 [4] The color of the selection in areas where there is a difference in the compare mode, it is not possible to change the color.
- picture 2a and picture 2b For text editing mode, when I grab the title of a window and drag it to a text field, the program shows me the options that I can move that window to a new view or copy it to a new view. This is not possible for the hexadecimal editing view.
