Tell us about your setup:

  1. What iDevice are you using? Apple TV 4K
  2. On what version of iOS is it? tvOS 14.5
  3. What version of checkra1n are you using? Latest and tried debug pongo OS builds and checkra1n builds
  4. What is your host system (OS version? Hackintosh? VM? etc.)? Tried on both macOS and Linux
  5. How are you connecting to the device (USB-A? USB-C? Apple/3rd party cable? Through a USB hub?)? USB-A

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

  1. Plug In
  2. Jailbreak
  3. Wait
    ...

What do you expect, and what is happening instead?

If you use -c or --force-revert the screen will freeze on this screen https://imgur.com/a/3mlm6aA if you select any options in GUI it will also fail, upon the booting part. tried with all and no options on macOS and Linux.
No options allow the patchfinder to work and patch everything out as normal and pwn sep but just does not boot after that into tvOS. stuck in a loop.

Apple Configure 2 can detect the device in DFU but as no firmware files exist cannot restore it.

Before i tried to jailbreak on tvOS 14.5 Finder downloaded a new update to connect to the Apple TV

Device to jailbreak and boot up

Did you see a popup on the device stating it entered "Safe Mode" due to an error? N/A device does not boot up after the checkra1n screen.

Does the issue also occur if you tick "Safe Mode" in the checkra1n options?

Any other info, error logs, screenshots, ...?

Device is now stuck in blinking mode (DFU), cannot boot into tvOS

Also tried the Debug versions of PongoOS and debug checkra1n release in that thread

If i can somehow boot into recovery mode might allow for restoring via OTA on this device

Here's some logs, basically the same with ran with different args and the debug build that Siguza provided

#2074 (comment) Still the same with this build too, still have not been able to successfully boot into tvOS
