Currently fzf-zsh-completions does not state the minimum supported zsh version while the unit tests run on the following environments as of this writing:

  • macOS 12: zsh 5.8.1
  • Ubuntu 22.04 LTS: zsh 5.8.1-1

For there are vendor-supported versions of zsh that are still widely in use as in the following list, it is possible to choose one from the list and apply necessary fixes to support that version if applicable.

  • macOS 11: zsh 5.8
  • CentOS 7: zsh 5.0.2-34.el7_8.2
  • CentOS 8 Stream: zsh 5.5.1-10.el8
  • CentOS 9 Stream: zsh 5.8-9.el9
  • Debian 10 "buster": zsh 5.7.1-1+deb10u1
  • Debian 11 "bullseye": zsh 5.8-6+deb11u1
  • Debian 12 "bookworm": zsh 5.9-4+b2
  • Ubuntu 14.04 LTS: zsh 5.0.2-3ubuntu6.3
  • Ubuntu 16.04 LTS: zsh 5.1.1-1ubuntu2.3
  • Ubuntu 18.04 LTS: zsh 5.4.2-3ubuntu3
  • Ubuntu 20.04 LTS: zsh 5.8-3ubuntu1
