I'm just linking everything here as I'm wondering how to make things easier for everyone. Personally, I really like to use MIT so I don't have to worry about that, but honestly, I don't know what are the implications here.

I think you right, I don't mind either way, I think I chose GPL v3 because that was the default from cookiecutter,
let's just relicense it to MIT and be done with it, it should be permissive enough..
