No such file or directory error when starting service

after noticing that ds4drv was not starting on boot, when manually trying to enable it, i receive the error
> sudo systemctl enable ds4drv
Failed to execute operation: No such file or directory
i can run the ds4drv binary just fine, but im not sure how to troubleshoot the service not starting... any thoughts?
