I got a python error from the whois service, and I didn't see any updated documentation on the API, so I'm going to guess that the service is broken. I'll contact the maintainer and ask what's going on. Please wait a few days for a reply.

Still getting a timeout on their service.

On Sept 9th, the maintainer said that he was working on it. I'll ping him again and offer to help.

April 2nd and it still isn't up. So I'm removing CERTEE from the list of providers.

That’s unfortunate. They were a good source of data and will be missed.

Very true. CERT-EE is some good people and I'm very sad to see this resource disappear.
