Compare operators for date values from Front matter

This plugin is very useful and is getting better and better. A big thank you for the development.
Currently, numbers from Front matter can be used with compare operators (=, !=, >, >=, <=, <). It would be great if this were also possible for date values from Front matter. Then, for example, all events in the years between 1800 and 1900 could be filtered.
