in userChrome.css, under line 252 (selector is #nav-bar #PanelUI-button #PanelUI-menu-button)
change margin-right from 40px to 2px

#nav-bar #PanelUI-button #PanelUI-menu-button {
   margin-right: 2px !important; /* this line */
   margin-left: 2px !important;
}
