writing a short article for JOSS

As it was mentioned here #125, it would be great to have a DOI, But also writing a short form article for JOSS can be a really good way to systematize our work, and when you write for JOSS, the software that is being written about, gets a DOI and the article about it becomes indexed.
Any opinions? @rivaquiroga @d4tagirl @raynamharris @maurolepore

Sounds great. I'll close #125 for now to work on this, instead.
