Why don't you turn on the "Enforce HTTPS" switch?

I mean this one:

HTTPS is the move of the web, so why don't you enforce it? I have multiple sub-domains for my GitHub Pages sites and I ticked the box for all of them.

Disclosure: I am strong fan of SSL encryption :)

I have now enabled that option, I was simply not aware that it existed.
