Strange behaviour with css max-height transition

When I use max-height css transition (from 700px to 160px for example) waypoint fires at the end onLeave (without css transition it works fine),
so shadow in the bellow example stays.

PS when I manually scroll up and down (when message is expanded) it works ok.
PPS Show less changes max-height for message, so all thread also changes it height
