REQUEST: Consistently name Emu CPU_FREQ scripts.

I've noticed that most Emus use a cpufreq.sh file to set the cpu governor and min/max frequencies. However, N64 (and perhaps others) use a file with a different name (performance.sh in the case of N64).
I'm working on an app that allows configuring these settings via a GUI, can we use a consistent naming approach for these files?
Cheers.
EDIT: Also affects NDS.
