Cannot display image with specific size on markdown

I have tried to write some details on to describe a particular showcase and include some images for those descriptions. Yet including images in the main texts are quite tricky and cannot make the image to dynamically change its size depends on the \textwidth.
Are there any suggestion to put image with dynamic sizing in the markdown area?
