Single instance events are being displayed when not in specified range.

I had a vacation adjustment [scenario] which was dated in march 2011. However,
the range for the ledger was set to end in 2010. This event should not show in
the ledger, but it does.

The issue is actually with reoccurring events where the start date is too far
in the future.
