Spellbooks are not working

I am on Minecraft 1.20.1, fabric 0.14.24, mod version 1.1.4, and Azurelib, Azurelib Armor, and Geckolib are all updated to their most recent versions too.
It seems that the Technique books, although able to be enchanted with spells, don't actually show you the spells in the spells hotbar, and thus it's impossible to actually use them.
The regular spellbooks still seem to be working fine, but the technique books added by Spellblade are completely unusable.
I reported this after enchanting a Frost Techniques book and having this bug happen.
