Change the Clef wave colour?

I use clients branding colours and/or imagery on the wp-login.php page and sadly Clef's blue really doesn't work at all well with some of them. Obviously you've tested that the existing wave works well with a multitude of devices. I'm wondering whether you tested any other colours, perhaps a dark grey or black that might clash less with some colour schemes?

Suggestion
Regardless of whether or not we can use other colours for the Wave, I'd suggest that adding your answer to the knowledge base might be helpful for others.
