Invitation to join clojure-emacs or nREPL org

Closed this issue · 9 comments

Hey there!

sayid seems like a cool project that can certainly benefit from getting more love from the Clojure and Emacs hackers out there. Not sure what your plans for the project are, but if you'd like to get some help - consider yourself invited to join either https://github.com/clojure-emacs or https://github.com/nrepl and transfer the project there.

I think that grouping related projects together increases the chances for their long-term success.

hey @bbatsov

This seems like the right move. I clearly don't have enough time for sayid.

What are the next steps?
What would be my involvement (if any) in the project afterwards?

thanks!
Bill

Happy to hear this! (just the first part :) )

What are the next steps?

I'll invite you to the org now, so you can transfer the project. Please, also add bozhidar to the list of owners of the package on clojars, so I can issue releases there (if that's OK by you, otherwise I can simply change the deployment coordinate to some less personal).

What would be my involvement (if any) in the project afterwards?

You'll still retain full admin rights/ownership of the project, so you get to decide how involved you want to be down the road. :-) I certainly don't plan doing any big changes to the project - mostly maintenance work, small improvements, etc.

Invitation away - you can accept it via email or here https://github.com/clojure-emacs

@bbatsov Sorry for my slowness. I can't find any email about this, and don't see any way to join the org from the link you provided. Please try again? I promise to be on top of this next time. thanks

Can you check again now?

@bbatsov success! I'll transfer the project tonight. Thanks!

@bbatsov I finally did it. On clojars, I added you as a member to com.billpiel. Is that what you need?

Thanks!

Btw, how did you generate the site? Is it just raw html?
