Unable to use non-interactive login for UAA users

We see the warning in the docs ...
https://bosh.io/docs/cli-v2/?origin_team=T02FL4A1X#log-in
But we feel this is unreasonable. We use non-interactive login for our CI and do NOT want to be forced to have an "admin" user in the bosh basic auth because this is not a good security practice and we will have to file a security exception because we have a common user defined that is not controlled by our LDAP system.
The use case is we need to support non-interactive login to UAA LDAP users.
We have created an issue in Pivotal Tracker to manage this:
https://www.pivotaltracker.com/story/show/167351085
The labels on this github issue will be updated when the story is started.

Has there been no update in tracker on this issue? Can the bosh team please update this with the correct status? If this is going to be dropped there should be some communication here.
