Web-based File Manager fails to navigate properly across folders

Closed this issue ยท 2 comments

CloudPanel version(s) affected

2.4.2

Description

The web file manager when double-clicking a folder goes inside and the tree on the left side opens. However, at some point after the first directory level (e.g. homedir/htdocs/site.domain.org/somefolder) the tree on the left stops expanding and you cannot navigate back, unless this is at the root e.g. homedir.

Important note: this does not happen the first time. You can enter "somefolder" the first time and use "Parent dir" to go back. Every other time, it fails.
Also, seems that the left panel stops expanding after the first level.

How to reproduce

  1. Open the file manager tab.
  2. Navigate to the htdocs/whatever.site.org/folder_inside_it.
  3. Use the "Parent folder" double click to navigate back.
  4. Go to the same folder again, by double clicking on the right panel (not left/tree panel). You will find yourself in the root (homedir) instead of the actual expected folder.

When this happens, the breadcrumb becomes blank. See below the marked rectangle.
bugreport

Say the navigation tree is as:

<homedir>
  <htdocs>
     <site>
        folderA
        folderB

Going from homedir > htdocs > site > folderA works ๐Ÿ‘
Then going from homedir > htdocs > site > folderA does not work ๐Ÿ’ฃ
Going from homedir > htdocs > site > folderB works. Trying again to go to folderB does not work ๐Ÿ˜•
Going from homedir > htdocs > site > folderA again, works ๐Ÿ˜• .

Possible Solution
