Dissociating Panning and Zooming that occurs in Split-Screen

Hi @massimomartinelli, bringing the conversation here in case future contributors find it useful.

While in split-screen, is there a way to easily dissociate viewerplus and viewerplus2 so that the panning and zooming that occurs in viewerplus does not cause also occur in viewerplus2? For mosaic/mosaic comparisons I see that it's useful but for mosaic/images I'd like to see what it would be like if panning and zooming in each viewer were completely independent, such that changes in viewerplus doesn't change viewerplus2, and vice versa.

Disregard, someone suggested creating a pop-up window as opposed to hijacking Split-Screen, which solves the problem and also more elegant.
