Emojis displayed incorrectly in event preview

Emojis don't render correctly in the event preview mode (tested in mobile Obsidian):
Thanks for the report -- if you were to file a pull request fixing this, I'd gladly merge it!
@coddingtonbear I don't know anything about Obsidian plugin development, nor how to file pull requests. I don't have time to learn rn either even if I wanted to. Is it safe to assume from your answer that the plugin is essentially no longer under active development? If so, adding an information about it on top of the description would be a good idea.
It's not safe to say that this isn't under active development, no. It is, though, safe to say that I'm not personally interested in helping out with this particular request because my time, too, is very precious, and this issue is both extremely minor and doesn't overlap with my personal use case.
This is an open-source project, though, and open-source projects like this one rely on the community using the project to provide fixes/features. That is the entire point of a project being open-source: you or anybody else, being in that community, is free to invest your time adding features or fixing bugs that you find particularly painful to deal with or work around.
