Document AWS resources used by the API

After a conversation with @catileptic, I've started working on deploying the staging to a different host. However, from what I remember, the application still depends on AWS for some services.
@AndreiMitrea, could we document what those services are? Also, if we were to not rely on AWS, what would that involve?

There are dependencies on some AWS services.
@catileptic To what do you plan to migrate too?

The production environment will live in AWS, but the dev environment will live in an un-managed cloud.
We can store things inside the container in dev mode, use a data base that's vanilla DB image.
