Why is the scale so low?

The Particle Designer editor shows how the particle looks at the specified resolution, however when imported to Unity the scale range is limited up to 0.1 of its size. Is there any special reason for this? (I changed it on the script to 1 and it looks how it should.

That sounds like it was a bug as there should be no reason for it to be restricted to such a low value.
