One user reports that
"On MacBook Pro 15", 2.2 GHz i7 ("Early 2011" model) running Mac OS X 10.7.4 Sometimes after a restart or a cold boot, the process "bmcapture" will immediately eat up half my MacBook Pro's CPU cycles —that's a lot: the cooling fans kick in at full power. It does not stop, the only way to bring the system back to normal is by killing bmcapture using Activity Monitor."
"it seems that the runaway bmcapture process happens only upon login or upon waking from sleep.""
