Question about roadmap

Hi folks,
We consider to use Codecov in our company, and the Codecov chrome extension seems to be a crucial feature that we're looking forward to using.
Right now, Source Graph's extension looks like deprecated, So we plan to integrate Codecov with a locally built this WIP chrome extension.
I understand that the extension is still in development, so I would like to inquire about the progress and the roadmap for its completion.

Can you provide the current development status and an estimated timeline for when the Codecov extension will be released as stable?

@DevSDK apologies for the delay here, I missed this issue :(.

An update:

  • the extension is currently available for firefox, it is currently marked as experimental since it is in beta. You can get it here.
  • the extension is published in Chrome, but is currently only available to a subset of internal users for testing purposes. I plan to open this up more widely in the next couple weeks.

Why is it available widely for FF and not Chrome? Essentially we weren't able to meaningfully restrict access in the FF add on marketplace like we can within the Chrome web store. Chrome usage is also much higher amongst codecov users so we wanted to take a bit more time internally testing with Chrome to tease out any deal breaking issues before opening that extension up more publicly.

@DevSDK Note that the codecov extension is now available on the Chrome Web Extension store, you can get it at this link: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/codecov/gedikamndpbemklijjkncpnolildpbgo?hl=en
