UX Research: Survey

Participants:

1. Group 1: River User community - including boathouses who receive communications about water quality; CRWA has a base distribution list, and can also send it to another group (CRAB, Charles River Alliance of Boaters) to distribute to their members
2. Group 2: Watershed citizens - I suggest using the volunteer samplers as the group to survey here (there are about 80 of them). They understand our sampling program, look at the data often, and represent a good cross-section of CRWA's members. They are also voting members of CRWA, many are river users, and some are donors as well.
   3. (deprioritized for this research effort) Group 3: Town administrators & regulators who currently use site’s viz & data (typically interested in specific data types for specific projects); ideal participants have used site at least once before

Format: Ideally 10 questions, with combination of quantitative (scale, rank, etc.) & qualitative (open text)
Logistics: Survey will be open for 2 weeks; reminder sent after week 1
Tool: Google Forms (or Survey Monkey)
