can i wrap text in desired tag ?
like wrap-link thing for tags ?

Couldn't you just make the tag you are putting the template attributes on be the tag you want to wrap the content on?
I'm no longer actively working on this project, but if you want to submit a pull request with your proposed change I will add it to the code base.
