get historic spot price returns current price

Hi,

I basically have the same question as this guy #50 but for APIv2

I just want to check the percentual price movement and therefore im requesting the price from 10 min ago and the current one to compare them.

The doc says in the section about the spot price "You can also get historic prices with date parameter."
So I played around with the date but it always shows the same price.

I detailed the question on stack overflow incl example. Maybe somebody here is smater :)
