It is pretty common for no icon to appear for fresh installs. To fix most issues, verify that the folder name you downloaded is n1-unsubscribe
and not n1-unsubscribe-master
(this happens when you download the master branch directly). This change in directory name prevents N1 from finding the plugin's assets. A quick way to check is to look at the plugins page in the N1 client (Preferences > Plugins). You should see our plugin like this:
If the name is different then this can be resolved by uninstalling, changing the directory name to n1-unsubscribe and then re-installing.
If that didn't solve the issue, please open an issue and we will take a look (we usually respond pretty promptly). Thanks for checking this plugin out!
I've had this now. It was working as of last night, but noticed today it's gone.
Using Gnome 3.20 on Arch Linux, N1 version 0.4.25-1. If it's just a matter of upgrading to sort it out, i'll do it, but the only version available from Aur is 0.4.25.
Sorry @afroviking, your comment got lost in our issues. Did updating Nylas help? There was a brief window when a Nylas update broke the extension
@KyleKing yes, this was now sorted!
Downloaded it two days ago and wasn't still working (only when i first loaded the plugin, but when i restarted it was gone). Got it working now though!
Though for some emails, despite being unable to click on the button and unsubscribe i still get a "disabled" text on hover. Maybe that should be its own issue thread however. But thanks for the prompt fix! 👍
