Dear all,

I'm just curious:

Is there any auto-update feature built-in into this plugin or N1 in general?

Or do I need to check for new updates of this plugin manually?

Right now it is entirely manual, which means people will pretty much only update when the extension breaks. There are a couple of open issues on the N1 repo, but it is not yet on their roadmap, so hopefully it just spontaneously is built after the last Nylas update issues

Thanks for encouraging us to revisit auto-updating. I just released a version that should display a notification when an update is available and link to the release page or the direct zip-download. Let me know what you think!

This is fantastic!

I would say this should be a default for all plugins.

What do you think, should we pass it on to the N1 developers? 😃

Thank you!! Definitely, I'm going to bundle the updater as a package for NPM, so everyone can utilize it!
