Please wait while the app loads on webpage when running

I have an issue where when running pisignage I have this message "Please wait while the app loads" on the webpage only and it does not load anything even after hours of it being on.
No errors or warnings get printed on the console either, not sure what is wrong
the options: {useMongoClient: true} is commented but if it isnt the "Please wait while the app loads" is still there

We did a server code update now, can you please check after git pull?
