Need to evaluate what needs to be done (if anything) for prometheus metrics reporting for multiple kubernetes connections.

As of now - all metrics would be reported as one instance - which is accurate, since it's one CoreDNS instance.
Could be useful to include a differentiating prometheus tag/vector per kubernetes connection, but should wait to see if there is a need for it.
