something happened with recent versions of react which affected HMR as it's not working (it wasn't on my PC, and I think it's not working now too, there hasn't been any changes)
I think we need to make some changes in order to do HMR work again 🙁
I don't even know if I'll be able to send a fix, if you have some time, investigate, and if I find time, I'll do the same 🙂

either that, or it randomly stops working, it's working fine now, I'll reopen if it's not working again.
or maybe I just missed something
