Reproduction link
https://demos.creative-tim.com/material-dashboard/examples/dashboard.html
Operating System
macOS 10.15.7
Device
iMac 21" (late 2013 model)
Browser & Version
Safari 15.1, Chrome 96.0 and others
Steps to reproduce
- Open the Material Dashboard demo link in a desktop browser
- Resize the browser to a smaller height
- The footer of the side bar occupies a lot of spaces ( 360px )

What is expected?
The footer of the side bar only occupies the height of the contents inside, which is a button.
What is actually happening?
The footer occupies 360px height, too tall, forcing the sidebar upper part to scroll
Solution
The temp workaround is here: https://stackoverflow.com/a/69835172/188331, but I don't think a hardcoded value is appropriate.
