Reproduction link

Operating System

macOS 10.15.7

Device

iMac 21" (late 2013 model)

Browser & Version

Safari 15.1, Chrome 96.0 and others

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open the Material Dashboard demo link in a desktop browser
  2. Resize the browser to a smaller height
  3. The footer of the side bar occupies a lot of spaces ( 360px )

StackOverflow question link: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/69835060/sidebar-footer-of-material-dashboard-2-free-version-by-creative-tim

What is expected?

The footer of the side bar only occupies the height of the contents inside, which is a button.

What is actually happening?

The footer occupies 360px height, too tall, forcing the sidebar upper part to scroll

Solution

The temp workaround is here: https://stackoverflow.com/a/69835172/188331, but I don't think a hardcoded value is appropriate.
