Picture gallery data access issues on Android14

I'm in the process to migrate the v3.3.5 (the one available on the play store as a beta tester at this time) from an old Android 8 phone to a newer one on v14.
I found I wasn't able anymore to select an existing picture from the photo gallery for any equipment description on Android 14 (despite this work as expected on v8).
