Submit50 Could not connect to GitHub

I created my final project locally on VS Code and keep getting the following error message when trying to submit my final project. I'm able to push and pull to and from git easily and there seems to be no problem with the connection to GitHub elsewhere. I've tried updated pip as well as submit50 and just can't figure it out. I'm using a virtual environment if that matters- I created it within my directory/project folder. Please help!
