Including Number of Students when calculating the score?

Hey so I was thinking some universities like USC have 500+ students in a dept but other have like 100. Could you divide the scores by the student count or include it in some way. Because more students will definitely lead to more published papers but the students per paper published metric will give a better insight according to me. If not that then maybe a column for number of students??
