How to deal with trusted distributed LBTs like vending machines

How would you define the geo-origin of all Pepsi machines so that Pepsi can push notifications to their trusted clients? Maybe it wants to do a promotion like a push notifications for a 5 minute period every hour for reduced prices, or something that would actually make you want to receive a push notification from a vending machine.
Would Pepsi have to write the location of every single Pepsi machine on their domain root? That seems like quite a large list.
