log function is broken

Description

The logging is just broken. Like, enough said. Missing log messages.

Steps to reproduce

Run the follow when the current working directory is not a Reveal.js repo clone.

reveal-init -d . -c

Missing log messages in the temporary log file. These log messages do get displayed
in stdin, however.

Environment

  • Program version: master (after 2.1)
  • Shell interpreter: Bash
