Drag Tabs between multiple strips

I have a chat client, where a user has several columns of tabs.

I wish the user to be able to drag a tab between columns.

  1. Would react-tabtab support this?
    If not,
  2. Would it be a very complex change to support it?

(I'm happy to sponsor such a new capability, if necessary)
