We are currently on Wordpress version 5.8.4, which according to this chart supports PHP 7.4: https://make.wordpress.org/core/handbook/references/php-compatibility-and-wordpress-versions/

Note: WP wants to update to 5.9.2 which also supports PHP 7.4.

Thus, in theory, this update should be inconsequential for us (but we never know, because it's wordpress)

Also, we are on PHP 7.3.33. WP Dashboard is actually now recommending an upgrade to 7.4:
