Dragging an image onto a figure no longer has this behaviour and needs to be fixed up!

So we are looking for a new UI interaction?
- is drag and drop no longer viable?
- should we have a menu item that opens a dialog (or otherwise) providing a dropzone/browse for the user to update the image in place?
- should we have a way to show the version of the image to the user? (IIRC there is no UI for this now)
