What advantages does Hedron have over NOVA?

Historically, NOVA has not accepted third-party contributions. This was our main motivation to create a fork. We decided to give it a new name and not continue calling it NOVA to avoid confusion. Over time, we have rewritten some kernel subsystems for testability and simplicity (paging, CPU-local memory, ...), removed unused functionality (32-bit support, vTLB, ...) and have ingested some patches from Genode (Multiboot2 support, ...).
