Is this project still maintained? If no, could you point me towards any similar projects?

Sorry, No. 😢

As you can read in the README.md, this project is deprecated due to the API change of douban.fm. Most of the still-alive client for douban.fm can only listen to liked(hearted) songs.

Maybe you can search for client for music.163.com, which has more alternative desktop clients, like https://github.com/javaSwing/NeteaseCloudWebApp , https://github.com/darknessomi/musicbox and so on.

Thanks for the updates and the links. I also came across another similar project: https://github.com/sbwtw/DoubanFM
There is no way to adapt the programme to the API changes? I am not very familiar with API but wouldn't mind to know more about it.
