DC50S possible bug with pv_power

WHEN I disconnect the solar panels from the DC50S controller.
AND I then charge from the alternator/starter battery.
THEN pv_power is showing the watts/power value from that source.
I expect it to remain at 0.
Is this a bug with the code / pv_power variable or the renogy hardware?
Or is it intended?
Currently this means if I am charging from my alternator, it thinks that the charge is coming from the solar panels (even if they are not connected) and this impacts stats, widgets, mqqt etc.
I can probably work around it on the front end in Home Assistant if needed, but wanted to check first.
Can you confirm the behavior from renogy app?
When solar is connected its showing u only the pv_power from solar or both combine?
Is there a way to view both separately ?
