N3DSXL Frozen

I followed all the steps up on the guide from https://3ds.guide/ up to the safehax part but accidentally opened fasthax instead now my N3DSXL is frozen at a screen that says
"[ + ] Initialized kernel-specific offsets.
[ + ] Initialized timer state.
[ * ] Beginning attempt 0x0..."
Is it safe to restart my DS or take out the SD card? I have tried clicking start and nothing has happened
