Dashboard issue: There was a problem displaying this chart Error

Hello,
I'm currently running version 0.36.2 of Metabase and v1.2.0 of the Athena-Metabase driver. I'm frequently experiencing problems with charts not loading on the dashboard and end up with an error message "There was a problem displaying this chart". This occurring randomly for different charts, on refreshing the browser charts sometimes load up again. I have been trying to get to the bottom of this issue and trying to resolve it but nothing seems to be working. The log file for Metabase shows a number of different errors as shown below:
[Simba]AthenaJDBC Query execution got cancelled for this query: -- Metabase:: userID: 3
ERROR metabase.query-processor.middleware.catch-exceptions Error processing query: null
[Simba]AthenaJDBC An error has occurred. Exception during column initialization
Can you please suggest what might be an issue and how can we resolve it?

Hi @thakurshalabh08 - thanks for filing the issue. My first reaction would be to try upgrading to the most recent version of Metabase (backing up your app db first of course).
If you want before doing that, you can try sharing your query and database schema, but without a more detailed error message or reproduction it will be tough to know what's going on. Are there any errors on the Athena side?
Closing as part of cleanup now that Athena is officially supported by Metabase. Any future issues can be asked about on their forum or with a detailed bug report.
