Clarify Bookmarks, highlights, and notes

Closed this issue · 2 comments

In the basic title, Bookmarks, Notes and highlights are tested. Many reading systems fail in this area, and this is in part because of the language.

A bookmark simply marks a spot in the title to return to. Because of the problem with focus, this may be difficult to determine. Instead, some text should be highlighted and perhaps copied to the clipboard to mark the spot. Also, this bookmark or highlight may be named and associated with a color. Finally, it may be possible to place notes and associate with the bookmark/highlight.

It seems these test should be revised for clarity.

Bookmark is being placed at screen level by most reading systems. May be we can clarify in test notes that if focus moves to somewhere near the last passage read, the test will pass.

This needs to be relaxed and placed as a 2023 milestone.
