panel icons for applications.

Hi, where and how are the icons that appears aside of the app name defined?

i have some apps like nautilus, the gnome terminal and chrome which display a different and more clean icon here.

example chrome

but most apps just show a grey version of their usual icon

example discord.

im not requesting these icons, but rather how to populate these myself so i can create the icons for my most used apps.

These icons are placed inside apps/symbolic folder, inside the icon theme.
