Retain cursor position on reload

When the file reloads after save, it loses the cursor position.

Hey, I'd like to look into this. Can you elaborate a bit more end explain how this is happening and to what?

Load a long file and move your cursor down to the bottom of the file, then save. Normal Sublime behavior maintains the position of the cursor. When I enable Magicless, the cursor is returned to the top of the file, losing my place.

On a separate note, would using this as a keyboard shortcut rather than a pre-save be more useful? I never introduce Smart Quotes in sublime, I tend to be cleaning them up from other places so only need to use it once in a great while.
